This cell has been specifically
designed for use in the aeronautical domain. The cell is made
out of a nickeled anticorodal block. The mirrors (made of nickeled
and gilded anticorodal) are fixed in such a way both to allow
easy removal and effortless realignment, and to resist up to
12 g accelerations. The cell overall weight is about 550 grams.
Both the laser beam input/output opening, and the spot spacing
on the mirrors are conceived in such a way to allow operation
without diffractive effects, or interference fringes under a
2 mm beam wavelength.
The gas flows through two 1/4" Swagelok® connectors fixed
on the side of the main body’s extremities.
