The BC2000-01 analyzer measures CO2 concentration
in the atmosphere within 300÷3000 ppm.
The instrument is based on the CO2 molecules
absorption of the laser light emitted by the
instrument's diode. Concentration is linearly
related to laser beam weakening. The surveying
process adopts the double tone frequency
modulation technique. This technique allows an
efficient reduction of the measurement noise.
The sensor has been designed to be used in air
but, on demand, it can be equipped with a
multipass cell to augment the sensitivity.
The system is wholly controlled with an internal
CPU. The CPU manages the measurements, and
analyzes and transmits data.
Technical data
- Surveying: double tone frequency modulation, measurement frequency 8 MHz.
- CPU: DX 266 MHz
- Operating temperature: 0±40 °C (this interval can vary, depending on the laser characteristic)
- Acquired data digital filtering
