OXCC-01 O2 Analyzer in combustion chambers

oxx01E

This analyzer measures Oxygen concentration in combustion chambers This instrument monitors Oxygen concentration in gaseous fuels burners in order to control and improve the combustion process. The system is based on the measurement of laser beam attenuation after passing through the burner, passing through two refractory glass windows

This instrument needs a special calibration procedure that requires the burner to be shut down. Two factors concur to the calibration complexity: part of the laser beam path occurs in the atmosphere, and the two signals (the atmospheric signal and the one internal to the burner) have different shapes because of the different temperature.

The instrument is made of a case for the electronics, one for the emission optics, and one for the detector. The surveying technique used in this analyzer, is the so-called "Wavelength modulation". This technique will also determine the burner temperature. The Laser source will be a VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) diode.
